Clinical Interests:
18+ depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, bipolar, schizophreniaI enjoy working with adults with disabilities and persons born abroad as well as all adults who suffer with mental illness.
Clinical Approach:
I try to take a whole body, person-centered approach, taking care to address nutritional deficiencies, sleep, exercise and psychosocial stressors. My aim is as little medication as possible and I advocate for participation in available therapies where indicated. I believe it takes an integrated team approach to treat mental health.
Hobbies:
I enjoy my family and raising our 3 young children with my dear husband. In my free time, I am remodeling my 1890 built duplex, walk and kayak with friends and am involved in church life. I am an advocate for single mothers and excellent urban education for youth. I love to read biographies and watch documentaries. I love live music and summer evenings.
