More About Scott Burgi
Clinical Interests:
My primary interest and specialty is working with kids ages 9-21 with diverse behavioral issues. Often these include anger, adolescent substance use, trauma, oppositional defiant behaviors, delinquent behaviors, parent/child conflict and attachment disorders. I have also worked with couples and adults.
Clinical Approach:
The approach I most frequently use is Adlerian therapy focusing on what is happening now and ways to overcome difficulties by changing the clients’ current behaviors and mindset.
Hobbies:
I enjoy spending time with my family(especially my grandchildren), training hunting dogs (German Shorthair Pointers), Camping, Boating, Hunting, and Fishing, I also like to ride my motorcycle when I can find time.
