Clinical Interests:

Shidonna received her Master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. Shidonna is a licensed Master’s level -Social Worker and enjoys working with adolescents (aged 12-17) and young adults (aged 18-24). Shidonna has experience working with youth in inpatient, outpatient and school-based settings. Shidonna’s current focus is anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and grief/loss. Shidonna is passionate about meeting client’s where they are while providing a non-judgmental, safe space. Shidonna enjoys supporting client’s as they meet the goals they’ve set toward a life that’s fulfilling for them.

Clinical Approach:

Shidonna’s clinical approach is mainly person-centered. Shidonna believes in meeting client’s where they are, while providing a non-judgmental, safe space. It is an amazing experience for Shidonna to have a sideline view of a client’s journey to a life they envision. Shidonna also utilize CBT acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.

Hobbies:

Shidonna enjoys spending time with her family. When she’s not attending the various extracurricular activities her children are involved in, she loves to read, bake, do puzzles, or watch a good movie.
