Clinical Interests:

I work with age 16 and up through 70 experiencing depression, anxiety, panic attacks, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, loss, life transitions as well as couples experiencing relationship and communication challenges.

Clinical Approach:

There are several areas clinically that I utilize depending on an individual’s presentation and journey with wellness. These approaches include EMDR for PTSD, cognitive-behavioral therapy for adjustment and change, DBT informed, narrative therapy, and strength based. I develop a therapeutic alliance with clients and collaborate to develop the best approach to improve overall strengths and functioning. My lens by which I view therapy is through a client’s developmental experiences, providing solution focused therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I have been a Licensed School Counselor in Minnesota and have an Addictions base of knowledge and experience to assist clients moving through areas of concern.

Hobbies:

I enjoy bicycling outdoors with friends, nature hikes, gardening and family activities together.
