Clinical Approach:

I am a creative out-of-the-box thinker who embraces her rural roots and mental health care’s evolving and changing nature. My focus is on addressing the issues the client feels ready to work on with evidence-based treatment. I believe empathy, education, and honesty to be the key to the successful treatment of mental health disorders. I combine my skills as a therapist, experiences as a mother of three neurodivergent children, and wife of a construction worker to create connections with clients and achieve positive outcomes.

Hobbies:

My interests include baking “fancy cakes” and learning new techniques in cake and cookie decorating. I enjoy cooking large meals and learning new cooking techniques. I feel that my actual hobby is learning new skills and crafts; I find myself learning new things constantly. I enjoy running and participating in simple/ basic Yoga for stress relief. I have an active family that keeps me going constantly. My oldest daughter and I completed a family-friendly mud run in June. Three out of the four seasons, you can find my family camping/kayaking/ fishing or enjoying what we call “river life.” In addition, I help out teaching the basics of dance and tumbling at a local to me dance studio.
