More About Tiffany Douarnymey
Clinical Interests:
Currently gaining experience through a PILT program, focusing on diverse topics including family/couples therapy. CEUs completed in areas like addiction and ADHD. Interested in DBT.
Clinical Approach:
Integrative approach combining evidence-based practices, including client-centered techniques, with a strong emphasis on ethical and legal standards for documentation and treatment planning.
Hobbies:
Outside of my professional life, I have a fascination with psychological thrillers and crime documentaries, which not only engage me but also enrich my understanding of human behavior and motivations. While I may not be the most active person in the traditional sense, I cherish quality time spent with friends and family, whether that’s through casual get-togethers or occasional outings to explore new places or experiences.
Self-care is another priority for me. I invest in my well-being by attending my own therapy sessions, separate from my supervision and peer consults. Additionally, I enjoy pampering myself with regular hair and nail treatments, seeing them not just as beauty routines but also as ways to relax and recharge.
I believe that maintaining a balance between professional commitments and personal joys is crucial for well-being, and I bring this philosophy into my practice as well.
