More About Victoria Fett
Clinical Interests:
I am passionate about working with parents of kids with special needs as I am a parent of three children with special needs (at least two are 2e). My Clinical interests include trauma/PTSD, ADHD, parenting, anxiety, depression, learning disorders, giftedness, 2e, Autism, and low self-esteem. Currently, I primarily work with individuals aged 10-45.
Clinical Approach:
My clinical approach depends on where the person is at and what they need in the moment. Building therapeutic rapport with my clients and working with my clients on what they want to get out of therapy is important to my approach as well. I ask for my client’s feedback at the end of every session, and I incorporate any feedback given into future sessions to the best of my ability. I typically incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and psychoeducation.
Hobbies:
When I am not at work, I spend my time with my family/friends, reading, listening to music, and watching tv/movies. I also enjoy camping and traveling when I am able.
