Clinical Interests:
Jess enjoys working with pre-teens through older adults on areas around depression, anxiety, identity, body image, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions. Jess takes a holistic, trauma-informed approach to understand the qualities & experiences of each individual.
Clinical Approach:
In session, Jess will incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to inspire introspection & client-centered goals.
Hobbies:
Jess loves basketball & running, and can be quite competitive. Her competitiveness rubs off on her 3 young nephews, who keep her busy with various games and physical challenges whenever they are together. Jess spends her free time exercising, playing with her dog, Fifi, and watching Netflix documentaries with her husband. Jess also loves to travel when given the opportunity, and dreams of someday taking a trip to Switzerland!
