More About Jillian Peterson
Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests involve working clinically with young children, adolescents, young adults and their families as they navigate traumatic past events, anxiety, depression, attachment difficulties, and substance use. I have prior experience partnering with birth and fostering families in community settings.
Clinical Approach:
I utilize the Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach and TF-CBT to partner with children, young adults, and their families as they seek their own strengths and liberation. My approach is trauma informed and I frequently use motivational interviewing to encourage creativity and partnering to seek client-centered solutions. Due to my background in social work, I frequently use the humanistic/holistic perspective of healing and change.
Hobbies:
I enjoying listening to podcasts, biking, gardening, and cooking.
