More About Kalee Culver
Clinical Interests:
I enjoy working with adolescents that are seeking support in areas of substance abuse, depression, anxiety, anger, poor self-esteem, family problems, etc. My goal is to provide a calm and safe setting for each client to feel heard, supported, and cared for as they take the brave step in talking open and honestly about themselves and their lives.
Clinical Approach:
I believe in meeting the client where they are at and allowing them to have a say in their goals for therapy. I like to utilize elements from a variety of modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), person-centered, motivational interviewing, and systems theory. I also incorporate a strengths-based approach to help clients identify their own strengths and continue to build upon them as they work through difficult emotions and situations.
Hobbies:
In my free time, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family and my dog, Milo. I also enjoy going to the gym, spending time outside, trying new restaurants, watching movies and tv shows, supporting the United States Women’s National Soccer Team, and travelling when I get the chance.
