Clinical Approach:
I take a collaborative, conversational approach to working with patients. I like to get to know the whole person as an individual, their personal history, family/social lives, careers, health practices, etc,, as all of these factors impact mental health. I take a holistic approach to psychiatric treatment, viewing medications as one of many tools available to improve mental health. I strive to form a clinical alliance with each individual where we work together to formulate the treatment plan and medications that best fit that person’s needs.
Hobbies:
I enjoy reading (especially historical biographies), exercise, reality tv shows, movies, and traveling, and I love spending time with my husband, two daughters, and dog.
