Clinical Approach:

As I aim to expand my toolbox of interventions and clinical approaches, I know that the relationship with the client and family are important factor in building a trusting, therapeutic relationship. I engage with clients through games and age-appropriate activities. I have found that adding fun to therapy is a great way to get children to engage in skill-building. I am patient and gentle, yet goal-driven and determined to help my clients improve. I am mindful of the importance of incorporating family into the therapeutic goals, as it is important for them to learn how to more effectively engage with their child. I like to use visuals to help clients communicate their thoughts and feelings.

Hobbies:

I thoroughly enjoy learning new things on all sorts of topics from cooking, baking, gardening, and home projects, to art theory, philosophy, plants, history, and anything about wellness, therapy, mental health, and psychology. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, whether it be traveling for a short getaway or spending time by a bonfire at the lake. I have a spoiled yorkiepoo, Moona, who I enjoy taking on walks and to the local dog parks. I like to grow food and cook delicious meals. I also like to explore different restaurants with a variety of cuisines. Lastly, I have a love for the outdoors, nature, and hiking.
