More About Stephanie Kolhei
Clinical Interests:
Anxiety, ADHD, Job/Career issues, Infertility, Parenting after Infertility, Perinatal Mental Health, and Psychological Testing
Clinical Approach:
As diagnostic and testing clinician, I appreciate a thorough approach to the assessment process. I consider biological, social, psychological, and spiritual factors in assessment as well as use of evidence based assessment tools and practices. As a therapist, I primarily utilize therapeutic techniques that lend from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) interventions. At times, I may utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training as well. I may also use gender, culture, as well as basic human needs such as survival, freedom, fun, power, and love/belonging to further examine stressors. I enjoy working in this field and consider it an honor to serve.
Hobbies:
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playtime with my daughter, watching movies and finding a binge-worthy show to stream, golfing and swimming in the summer and walking/hiking in the woods in the fall.
