Clinical Interests:
I work with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and truancy issues. I also work with families experiencing conflict, life stage transitions, as well as trouble with healthy boundaries.
Clinical Approach:
I utilize several approaches that promote cohesion and communication in children and their families, as well as reducing unhelpful family dynamics and conflict. I work collaboratively with clients and their families incorporating approaches such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy, to improve daily functioning and improve relationships. My clinical approach can be described as influenced by theories of attachment, relationships and family systems.
Hobbies:
I enjoy reading, crafting and tending to my garden and/or houseplants.
