More About Wa Cheng-Berg
My passion is helping children, teens, families and individuals in managing challenges in life and moving toward their goals. I am fluent in Chinese and English, have lived in both Eastern and Western cultures, have worked in the corporate world and been a stay-home mom, and have an intercultural marriage. I am interested in working with variety of issues facing people in different life stages such as anxiety, depression, conflict, anger, identity, trauma, spirituality, grief and loss, premarital counseling, parenting, relationships, immigration and cross-cultural issues, etc.
I deeply believe in each individual’s value regardless of their background. As your therapist, with my nurturant style and unique accent, I will meet you where you are and walk with you, and provide a safe and welcoming space for you to find hope, healing and growth toward freedom to be who you want to be and where you want to be.
Faith and families are important to me. I love listening to music, being solitude in devotion, and spending time with families and friends. I enjoy listening to TED Talks and podcasts, reading, hiking, biking, playing tennis, going to beaches, and traveling.
