Clinical Interests:
I am an LADC with many years of experience in the field. I started in the Crow Wing County jail setting, treating women only. I helped build a community based program from a Low Intensity Co-ed Outpatient Treatment Program. To High Intensity Outpatient Treatment Programs; with a Women’s only group, and Coed groups. I have been a volunteer on many committees in the Brainerd Area such as; the Brainerd Area Drug Awareness Program, Coalition on Methamphetamines, and the Crow Wing County Drug Court Program. I currently am providing up to 20 substance use disorder assessments per week at Nystroms in Baxter.
Hobbies:
'-Recovery is a passion of mine and I am actively involved in area support groups, state wide conferences/gatherings/camp-outs, and the local community based recovery functions.-I have a strong faith and I am actively involved in church community. -I enjoy spending time with; family, social connections thru volunteering, many friendships, and life building opportunities. -I enjoy crafts, painting, decorating, and do it yourself activities, gardening, BBQ’s, Etc.
