More About Ruth Smith

Clinical Interests:

I work with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, attachment issues, behavioral issues and those experiencing symptoms of ADHD. My clinical interests include complex trauma, attachment disorders and PTSD in children and adolescents.

Clinical Approach:

I utilize different approaches depending on the individual client. My approaches include a strength-based and solution focused approach, and exploration of client's overall functioning. I am influenced by cognitive behavioral therapeutic approaches as well as family systems. Exploring family relationships and interactions of the family system is a crucial way I approach clinical services.

Hobbies:

I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I love baking anything sweet. I enjoy reading and writing stories as well.
