1. Opportunity for Growth
There are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop within the company. We offer a Professional Development Track for those working toward licensure and have many other potential growth opportunities. Lisa Thistle, Director of Clinic Operations, speaks more on her experience:
Ten years ago, I started at Nystrom as a CTSS Supervisor. Over the years I was given the opportunity to manage and supervise in other programs and locations. There has always been a tremendous amount of support as I have grown in my career. I have not only experienced this myself but have been able to facilitate this growth with the people I have supervised. There are many opportunities at the company, and I have appreciated how Nystrom tries to promote from within.
2. Clinical & Licensure Supervision
We invest in you, to make you the best possible clinician you can be. We have board-approved supervision for unlicensed clinicians. In addition, we offer many clinical trainings that are free to our clinical staff. Alexa Thelen, Clinical Services Specialist, explains more on how the training at Nystrom has helped her professionally:
When I started working with Nystrom & Associates, I was provided multiple training opportunities that allowed me to feel confident in my abilities as a therapist. Along with trainings, I received the support needed to do my job well and feel part of the team. Receiving this excellent training has taught me the value of a strong foundation, which I strive to pass on to new and existing providers in my current role as a training specialist.
3. Multi-Specialty Practice
Another unique benefit to working at Nystrom is that we are a multi-specialty practice. We offer clients multiple services including Substance Use Disorder, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychological Testing, and much more! You can easily make referrals to other programs and the office staff handle all billing and scheduling needs, so you can focus on seeing clients.
